BOP MOTOR 350 CAN BE BORED TO 455  http://www.ebay.com/itm/Buick-Skylark-Custom-Convertible-1965-buick-skylark-convertible-custom-built-blowerscoop-tilt-front-/271363045892?forcerrptr=true&hash=item3f2e7f7a04&item=271363045892&pt=US_Cars_Trucks#ht_1024wt_888
Sorry, the max safe overbore for a Pontiac 350 is generally 0.060". Even though bore spacing is common with the other blocks, the cylinder wall thickness is the limiter. In other words, the outside of the cylinder wall at the water jacket is cast differently among the different blocks. It makes sense if you think about it from a design standpoint; if you had 455 water jackets and a tiny 350 bore, the heat transfer would be horrible due to excessive cyl wall thickness. Devon
There is more to it than just "bore it to a 455". Outside dimensions are exactly the same for all of these style Pontiac engines. The 455 Pontiac has quite a big difference with internal dimensions than the 350 . The crankshaft and main bearing journals being the biggest difference. The 350 has 3" main journals vs. 3.25" on the 455. The 455 crank and rods have a longer stroke than a 350 has.
