So this guy isn't quite sure what this car is? 300 hp? 64 nose? Nice looking car but it's not quite right. Goes thru all the gears with ease? All 2 gears?lol http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1965...2?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&hash=item2eb1341984#v4-39
You looking to buy?? yeah, it's a '64 nose and the fender and bumper alignment is terrible. Trunk shows patchwork, so I be skeptical about the 'rust free' undercarriage.
I am in no position. All my effort is in the GS right now and in the forseable future. If I were to be looking, it would be a 66 or 69.
This car has been for sale by this dealer for a long while. To me it looks like a really rusty car that has been fixed (I use that term loosely). Look at the area behind the rear tire on the quarter, no body line there, just a smooth slab all the way down, very scary.
Just like Ragtops said take a look at the actual shape of the quarter panel opening. Defintely "custom". Most likely rotted out pretty good from the looks. I'm sure someone would enjoy driving the car for a year or two until it needed the once over. Then it would be a rude awakening for the cost of the restoration.
