Yes I do on occasion...was even thinkin later this summer. I'm changing over from 300 to a 350. Would be time for a roadtrip n test 'er out. Car is a bench...but toying with the idea converting to buckets. Do you know if this would work? seein how a 64 console is one of those ironing board types. If Im gunna change, may as well put something in usefull! lol
Not sure how my column shift parts will work...lol

I did this swap years ago on a '67 and it was pretty easy. Just had to cut the hole and hook up the linkage rod to the trans. I left the column alone, other than removing the handle. You could swap the column if you can find a floor shift column. I was just a teenager when I did that swap, so I mickey moused it all together. No neutral safety switch, etc!:Dou:

Look me up if you come through.

I saw what I thought was a cool way to deal with the column shift area after you move the shift to the floor. He drilled the hole for the pin that holds the shift lever and mounted a tach there, I thought it was great. Sure takes all the attention away from the column shift leftover flange, and is a good place for the tach.
