I finally got my 65 Skylark GS in the garage and got the front suspension torn apart. The front sheet metal is all off the car and I have a new disc brake kit to put on it. You all know how one thing leads to fifty more so I am going to replace every thing. Can any one recommend a non-ripoff place to get all the bushings, ball joints, tie rods, centerlink, springs, etc I need? It is getting a 455 so I will probably go with HD springs. I have checked Kanter and some of the other dealers and the prices seem pretty high. If I could find a real live parts store I could probably buy every thing I need by the piece alot cheaper than some of these kit prices I am seeing. I am not trying to low buck or use cheapo parts but I don't want to waste my bucks either. I know other A bodies use some of the same stuff as our Buicks as I have some old parts books and the numbers are the same on some things. Any one been through this that can offer some tips? Thanks, Mike

I agree on ESPO, I have bought several different things from them and been happy with the price and quality each time.
Also, look for a Carquest Auto Parts store in your area. Their private label parts are from the top manufacturers in Carquest boxes, (Moog etc.) and are often cheaper than Auto Zone. Auto Zone often has name brand parts also.
