65 Skylark/Grand National Sleeper Project...

    getting close ..finally...after about three years this puppy is officially "on the road". Biggest thing left to do is install the new front disc kit, wait for the rest of the potmetal to come back from the chrome guy, and some final tweeks to the turbo motor.

    Just thought I'd share....

    Rich that is very cool. Hope to see it at one of the local cruises maybe Kings Park. Did i sell you those rims? Gerry

    Thanks Gerry. Yup. Rims came from you. I think your car was in the shop at the time though. I don't know about the KP cruise - Where/when?

    Rich its on Indian head road south of 25A Thursday nights 5:00pm until dark 50 or more cars.

    Watch out for that road scraper I remember somone picking a skunk in one and it wasn't pretty. Sweet ride. I am considering that for my 70 GS

    p.s. last night I was at my brother's house - he has a '73 LeSabre with no engine, and a supercharged 3.8 sitting in his garage...

    Tank is from Rick's Hot Rods - stainless, made for FI with a built in Walbro 340.

    It looks like a little cooler version of Granny's car on the outside and interior :TU:

    Thanks - thats exactly the look I was going for. Now I gotta see how fast I can make it go:grin:

    John - Have not had a chance to weigh it yet but I would guess it is at least a couple hundred lbs lighter than most GN's.

    Inland Empire Custom Aluminum Drive Shaft

    Currie 9" 31 spline Tru-trac w/ 3.50 gears
