'65 SP 400 stall points?

    Can someone tell me what the stall points on my stock 1965 switch pitch converter are? It's out of a wildcat with a 401.

    No such thing as stock stall speeds. It will vary with the weight of the car, engine torque, rear gearing etc. You should be able to foot brake the stock 13" converter to about 2100 in high stall, and around 1100 in low stall.

    I don't believe you will get that much difference in rpms between low and high stall with a stock converter. A 13" will probably go around 12 and 19 depending on how much torque you have. What ever it is you wont get 1000 rpms difference.
