For the past few days my 65 has had major misses in the ignition Sometimes it will last more than a second or two but for the most part its real quick I also notice when it happens the GEN lamp will light for the duration of the miss. (flicker or stay on to the rhythm of the miss) (Looking at the wiring diagram one contact on the key ignition switch has just the ignition coil and the voltage regulator through resistance wire) I am thinking it could be that contact on the key switch because I can wiggle it and it might not miss for many miles, also I have to wiggle the key to get the heater blower to work Until I can find a new Key switch I was planning to put in a temporary toggle by-pass switch (from the battery input side of the key switch to the contact for the ignition coil and voltage regulator) And see if the problem persists or quits If that does not fix it then I will trace the resistance wire from the key switch to where it splits to the coil and regulator I had replaced the Coil, Distributor cap, Rotor, Points, Condenser, Plugs and Plug wires and that didnt fix the problem Any comments or opnions?
