What parts interchange between the 66-67 Sklylarks, also do the Specials interchange with the skylarks?

66 skylark only parts: core support, hood, grill, headlight bezels, front bumper, rear bumper, quarter panel extensions, tailights, trunklid, dash pad there are more but these are the most common I think.
67 skylark only parts these are completely different from 66 skylarks:core support, hood, grill, headlight bezels, front bumper, rear bumper, quarter panel extensions, tailights, trunklid, dash pad there are more but these are the most common I think.

Parts shared between the both of them are: fenders, doors and quarter panels.

As far as the specials the same would apply, specials did not have the same trim, basically no lower trim than the skylarks.

Wheelwell chrome moldings do not "correctly" interchange between them either. They are close, but no banana.

    That's very interesting.

If the fenders and rear quarters are interchangable between 1966 and 1967 (with modifications, according to Hollander's), then how could the moldings not fit?

I assume that you've tried this, but I've never read that anyone else mentioned such a problem.

The mouldings will fit But the 66 mouldings stop at the lower body line while the 67 continues to the bottom of the rocker. The 66 also has trim that runs along the lower body line that meets up with the wheel opening mouldings
