Devin , Do you have a picture of the air cleaner ? I have one, its original low profile but not sure if its 64 Riv or 66 GS Will check the base but I'm sure its not for the 340 hp Qjet carb Bill
That's the same as mine. I will take pictures tomorrow. Also the bottom pan is different on some , mine is for the Carter AFB or the Rochester with the same carb opening . As I said in my first post , mine is " NOT " for the optional Q jet carb which has a larger hole in the base . Bill
Devin , Here are the pics of the air cleaner. The decal says 465 which is the torque rating of the 425 cu in. The last picture shows the tabs that keep the air cleaner centered on the engine. The first picture show more or less how the air cleaner inlet tube would face ( toward the passenger side of the car). I feel this will work but you decide . Anyone else have an opinion on this ?? Measure the carb opening on the cleaner to ensure it fits on your carb Devin. There are several different sizes.
