66 Chevelle / 64 Skylark

Will a 66 Chevelle frame interchange with a 64 Skylark o No:

I dont think so. I wanted to use a 67 on my 64 skylark and was told it would not work.

 

y not the floor pans body mounts etc are the same

 

o No: I'm looking for comfirmation, everything I've read says it will work, but there might be differences in the body mount locations. Can anyone comfirm. Thanks Bruce

So, if possible take a look at the front frame horns before purchasing.

 

To add to my earlier frame horn comments. Late this summer I took several pics of frame horns of front of an original '66 Olds 442 frame. The ends of framehorns were different from a '66 GTO frame I ck'ed at the same time, so Chevelle frame is not the only "one off " '66 A-body frame. Am currently working on getting detailed pics of all '64-67 A-body frames.

I have a 64 frame ( bare) if you want it I will be stripping my 64 2dr post car in the spring and for $100.00 plus shipping it's yours, I am in Calgary Alberta
