Geeez.... Just when I thought I was all ready to drop the 401 into the '66 GS, I realized I am missing the brackets that mount on the frame/crossmember for the front engine mounts. I have the adaptor plates on the engine and the mounts (pads). Anybody have a source for these? Thanks
David, If you haven't posted your request on the Nailhead forum here, you might try that. Or join the Nailhead yahoo group and post there. Good luck. The frame pads and other related 65 -66 GS parts are getting harder to find. You see them on ebay occasionally. Steve
Thanks. I am "working" this in the nailhead forum, getting a lot of good help and info. Is that your '66 in your avatar? Burgundy Mist, perhaps? My convertible will be the same, assuming I get it finished.
