E-brake cable hook on crossmember; power brake vacuum hose to manifold; motor mounting plates that bolt to block, waterpump/timing cover bolts(mine are all wrong sized with nuts as spacers) and pass side head bolts(same as waterpump),decent heater control for dash, with cables. I also need the hard line for the trans modulator, and right sized line to fab my own pass rear exsh to air horn line. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Dan:beer
I can probably help with the e brake hook and the modulator line, will post a pic of both tommorrow and you can see if they are right for you.Do you need both hooks or just one?
Hay Dan do you need a AC or no AC heater control. I think I asked before but cannot remember, am getting old. Also do you think the mod line is specific to 401 or will one off a small block work? Thanks Bill.
Dan, ya gotta check out this company: www.amkproducts.com LOTS of great original hardware, as well as alot of things you'll just stumble over while browsing their catalog.....you should be able to match up the cover bolts (with original head markings!), or find something in stainless the same size. I have pics and measurements of the original bolts if that would help. Vendors like www.ss396.com www.performanceyears.com (good forum too!) www.amesperf.com have a good selection of A-body items as well. Should have a e-brake hook. What do you need for the PB booster line....metal line or just hose? I have decent vac mod and ex heat lines off my car right now. I could send you some pics, make a template, or even bend up some repos for you.....let me know what would work for you.
Thanks for the tips/leads. Bill, it's for a non-AC. I think I vought one from you already, but it's too pitted to use the bezel. Thanks, Dan I forgot to mention, I need the 4 screws that hold the '65 and '66 horn bar for Skylark/Special. I could also use a GS exh. heat riser, even used and surface rusty will do....Thanks, Dan
Dan, i got the timing cover bolts. Still looking for that heat riser. I'll trade you a perfect set of bolts for a 64-66 AC fuel filter bracket.... Peace WildBill
Hi Bill, Please let me know how much for the bolts....None of my '66's have AC....it would only slow them down, haha. Dan
Dan, I think the heater/AC chrome is the same. You can take the screws out from the back and pull the chrome control knobs off and the use one off a AC on a no AC. Has anyone done that? Thanks Bill.
Hi Bill, If the chrome's nice, I am willing to give it a shot. Pulling those knobs off is a bear....Do you have scres for the horn bar? Thanks, Dan
Dan I am not sure of the AC one I have thought it was good but need to look. I found the best way to get teh knobs off is if you have he unit in hand rap the knob and pull on the unit with the knob hooked over the vice, know getting them back on is another thing. I will have to look on a car for the horn bar screws and we have 6 inches of snow. Thanks Bill.
Dan I found a good non AC one. It is not perfect but no pits, chrome is just good. Send me a PM with your email and I can get some good pictures Thanks Bill.
