Anyone know where the correct trunk material can be purchased. It been gone out of my trunk so long I can't remember what its suppose to look like. I know the stuff ledgendary sent me wasn't right. They sent a green and black rubber mat. I think mine was sort of tan or grey.
    Thanks Chuck

    Chuck,
My 66's had remnants of a cloth, foam backed mat, tan in color.

has the bulk material listed in their catalog for 61-64. Pn TM-616
I haven't verified whether this is correct for 1966. They will send you a sample if requested.....

    Thanks Walt
Also got a lead that "Jenkins" might have the correct bulk material

My Baltimore built 4-speed conv had a tan woven mat unlike my other '66's, which had the aqua houndstooth foam mats.
Walt, do you think the bulk stuff is what I've been looking for?
    Thanks, Dan

My '66 has the original tan mat with green-ish foam backing. Its honestly not very good stuff- I don't think I would have even liked it new. Unless you're going for a pure stock appearance, I would consider a look-alike, or carpet if your seals are good. Just my $.2.

Here's a pic of the trunk mat in Georges/Jims car, which was built in Baltimore. It's the tan cloth, foam backed type.
I haven't seen the material from CARS, but it 'sounds' like it might be the stuff!
Send them a SASE, and they'll mail you a sample.
I didn't realize the other assembly plants used the aqua foamy mat. Anyone know what is correct for a Fremont built '66?
