    Heya,

So there seem to be two very different gauge clusters for the '66 LeSabre, one has circular dials for the speedometer and one has a large rectangular one.

These are two very different designs, and both on what otherwise appears to be the same '66 LeSabre.

What's up with this difference? Which package/feature set included which set of dials? Is there an easy way to tell one type from the other? What other differences should I expect on a car with one type vs. the other?

    Thanks in advance!

For reference, here's two photos for example, both from a '66 LeSabre Convertible.

66 had the large rectangular gauge cluster &
    65 had the round clusters.

Thanks again, I suspected that might be the case - They guys insists the car is a 1966 but I think I a vin check is in order on that one, looks like a '65 all around to me.

    Thanks for the info!
