original owner ( connecticut ) passed away about five years ago . granddaughter and boyfriend end up with car locally - boyfriend drove car a little while ( he said he wanted to "hot rod" it - girlfriend said no thanks ) and now stored at granddaughters moms place . and now the news : odom says 60k+ , decent shape underneath , solid sorta but car has been spray bomb'd and quikee bondo'd quick fixed to death , interior in there but really needs help , glass ok i think , looks like probably the original engine and trans ( looked like a base 401 motor with q-jet and intake - they said it ran fine when parked , oil and trans fluid looked ok , brake fluid was a little low but there ) , good tires , steels and caps , non ac car , headlight door motor missing , a little crunched in the front - left front fender and front bumper a little twisted/outa whack . a local pontiac guy was approached by seller and he contacted me with base info . i took a few pics but the garage was kinda cramped , will try and get them on here later . if it did not need so much work to be decent then i might be interested ( especially ' cause i have a couple spare motors layin around ) but for a riv guy this could be a dream . just thought i'd go check it out and throw it on here in case someone was lookin for a project car that had at least a little potential . del
