Doing a little clean up and there is nothing but a light rusty surface on them now-what was the original paint/coating for the frame mount and adapter- thanks
Dan, I could not find any paint on my originals either, so I went with cast-iron paint on mounts and adapters.
Interesting-I know that guys have broken and then had to weld the adapters-rusting can't help. I'm just going to clean them up and probably use chassis black-thanks
Dan has the right idea, Just because Buick didnt paint them ,,,, just means that Buick was trying to cut costs.... i agree with Dan ,, paint them satin black or the cast iron grey....
