66 skylark Lower trim REPAINT

I'm starting the daunting task of reconditioning all of my trim while it's off the car. Was looking to repaint or maybe polish and leave bare the lower stainless trim. If I do repaint what paint are you using?

 

Back in the day I just applied some pinstripe.
If I were to repaint, I'd likely just use spray can black. Just clean it well, I usually 'scuff' it with fine steel wool, tho it's hardly scuffed. The factory didn't do to great measures to prep/paint them and it held up a long time.

 

I've used SEM Trim Black satin to paint some stainless and chrome trim before. It worked great.

 

I used pin stripe from the local Auto Trim Design guy.
