    67 quaters

I would love to have a new set of quarters for my 67 GS340 i found a set of patch panels in canada but they were hand fromed the wheel lip was ok but the rest was really junk but it was the only alternative. It is all done know but i would be willing to buy a set for a future restoration. I am planning this when i get out of school so i am hoping the start repoping soon. Mine are ok but they were rotted behind the wheel so i made patches myself but 3 years ago i got into an aciddent and had to replace the driver side quater with another. from a parts car this is were the patch from canada came in. Anyways i would deffinetly be interested if some one was going to do it.

    thanks Adam

Junk. They are made to fit over the existing 1/4 so the well is actuall smaller. then the molding hangs to low. Also there is no vertical bow in front of the well. Which is more profound on the hardtop BTW.
I butt welded 1/4 patches on mine.

Can hdtp 1/4s be used on convertible?

I finally got around to stripping the drivers side 1/4 on my latest 66 vert project, and found that the it had been patched long ago, and the pass had been replaced, poorly. Both were later rusted, and hit again, and bondoed up by some hack shop in Juarez, haha. Talk about the car that wouldn't die. I think the only thing that saved it was being a GS convertible. My question is: I have heard numerous people say that hardtop 1/4s require a lot of work to fit a convertible. I have a line on some very nice Skylark hardtop 1/4's in a local yard. If a good bodyman is doing the work, how hard is it really, to section them in, say from the top body line down, or from the crease. Thanks, Dan
