Is it any different than the Skylark battery tray? I know it is on the opposite side but I don't know if it is different.

Not going bad, Jim. I hope that you have had Happy Holidays also. I will search and see if I have an extra Skylark battery tray. I picked up a core support and cannot remember if it has the tray or not. Novice........me too for sure!

Jim, A '66 Skylark or Special battery tray will work. It will have 2 extra holes in the ledge where the battery sets, and you will need to drill 1 hole in the middle of the bottom. It's not 'correct' but functions the same and you can't see the diffence once the battery is mounted. One for the 66 GS is near impossible to find.....
