Looking for a set of chrome valve covers for the funny car or perhaps a set of finned ones if they exist.

This car originally ran the stock chrome covers but I have pictures of it with finned covers as well.

Would prefer a pair that didn't need chroming or else I'd just send out the pair I have.

    Thanks guys in advance...!

I'm pretty sure Edelbrock were the only guys that made finned aluminum valve covers for the 400, 430, 455 engines. They show up for sale on occasion but they're not cheap. Good luck.

    Thanks...in the pictures I have,they don't look like Edelbrock items...but I could be wrong.

FWIW, I just sold a VERY WELL MADE 67 GS fibreglass front clip, very similar to the clip on your car... It is in several pieces but complete and the new owner is trying to figure out how to pick it up....
I often wondered IF this was one of the few manufactured for your car..??
Someone obvioously added a Thunderbolt hood scoop sometime over the years... nevertheless, a very coool front clip.

Interesting...if you look closely up under the hood area on Ingenue, it's pretty obvious that Ron Pellegrini pieced together the fenders, hood and grille then glassed them all together to make one piece which was added to the body.
Your clip doesn't resemble what's reflected in the Ingenue/Super Bird mold but you never know...

    Thanx for your reply!
I believe you. I just wanted to point out thumbiddy performed a lotta work to make this f'glass clip as close to original appearing as best-as-possible... fender vents, hood scoops. Bumper, headlite besels, grille on & on & on...
The new owner will detail and make this thing look great, and quite possibly 'usable' on some 67 GS someday!!!
