    Hey Guys,
I have a customer who is curious if there is any breakdowns of bucket seat vs bench seat GS 400's.. He has a triple black bench seat HT, and rarely sees one without buckets in it.

I know that there were guys that went thru the daily car reports for other years, to compile this information, wondering if it was ever done for the 67's.

From Buick documents titled "1967 Model Accumulative Material Usage, Model Year Final, 8/23/67"

    '67 GS400 Hardtop (10,659 produced)
    Bench Seat 3,229 (30.3%)
    Bucket Seats 7,430 (69.7%)

A black bench seat (interior code 185) was the 2nd most common interior in the '67 GS 400 HT with 2,280 built (21.4% of the total production). The most common interior was black buckets at 4,362 units (41%).

    Just trivia here:
The bench seat in the '67 GS400 was only available in two colors, Dove (white) and Black but bucket seats were available in six colors (Blue, Yellow, Dove, Aqua, Red, and Black, but strangely not all bucket seat colors were offered in all body styles).
The bench seat in the '67 GS400 was only offered as a straight bench (no fold-down armrest) but the '67 Skylark was available with both the straight bench and the bench seat with the fold-down armrest.

I guess Buick figured the GS owner needed both hands at 10 & 2 o'clock on the wheel, unless there was a manual shifter ball in their right hand LOL! Ain't got no time for no armrest, anywayz.

While in the Army I ordered a convertible. Bench seat 4 speed, and the interior was dove. Wanted my girl friend right next to me. :)
