Some creative use of mechanic's wire. No holes drilled or anything like that. Once it's off, you'd never know it was there. Take a look at the far left side of this image & you'll see what I did: http://home.comcast.net/~shinzan/cc092.jpg Devon
cool stuff. looks like that front emblem is in good shape, at least the color part mine fell apart. does that come with it?
Yep, I was just going to leave it on. I don't think it's from a '67, though, and the surrounding plastic is falling apart. I have a pile of '67 Electra parts I'm plannning to ditch also, if I get a chance to look through things I'll see what else I have that may be of interest to you that's common with LeSabre. Devon
First off sorry for the delay in response. No excuses. Looking at the grills I have, both are of driver quality as they sit. If I were to be using either I would be repainting the black between the bars. The better one almost no pitting in the chrome but it does have two very small marks on 2 cross bars and a small mark on the drivers side ridge of the center section. I would call it a 6 out of 10 as it sits and could be an 8 of 10 with a good bath and paint job. I have two blinker lenses, one is as good as plastic can be after 40 years and the other has a small crack but is still intact. I am battling the technology to get these pics downloaded and will asap. I will also e-mail the pics if you want. PM me an e-mail address.
oh i think i did get them. Sorry it was a weird email so im weary about opening those. Ill check them. Thanks.
