Due to a lot of situational expenses requiring some extra cash I am selling my Buick. :( After 6 years in the Air Force my wife and I have decided to leave the service, with a 3 month old daughter no less! I have also decided to go back to college to become a teacher. So as you can imagine we have a tough financial road to travel down and need to part ways with extra expenses to pay for school/baby/moving etc. As sad as it is I will always know there will be other cars in my future, I am only 27 and have had atleast a dozen classics! Unfortunately this one being the one I have have been most attached and interseted in(nothin' beats a buick in class!), but alas it must go. :( So here she is as I bought it...
    -67' Skylark 2-Door Coupe
-Paperwork from an owner who lived in California and produced in Freemont, CA plant leads me to believe it could have been a California GS due to the following or could be a GS wanna be...
-Black interior with bucket seats and center console
-GS grill and hood scoops(non functional of course)
    -15" Rallye wheels
    -340ci with 4 barrel intake
    -Sport steering wheel I think?

These "options" lead me to believe it is a California GS but for sure I don't know, I could never find enough info on them. Here is the rest of the info...

    -VIN # 444177Z104240
-ST-300 auto tranny with switch pitch converter
    -8.5" 10 bolt rear
-Have a 430ci/TH-400 combo that was told came out of a Wildcat I bought to throw in it, complete intake to pan with pulleys/accessories with large port heads and exhaust manifolds
-Extra chrome dash and grill came in the trunk when I bought it

Original color from what I have scraped back in a few areas and decoded from the VIN is platinum mist iridescent? Baby blue-ish color, pretty color however some bonehead painted it(and crappily I might add) a reddish/orange color(have pics of data plate with codes). All parts are there minus the roofrail chrome molding that bent when I removed it and there was not any badging on the car. The stereo and speakers was not there either. Also the windshield was cracked very badly and almost fell apart during removal(still have it for specs), the rest of the glass is there and good. After completely disassembling the car(thinking I would be spending the next 20 years in the service and keeping the car) the only rusting through I can see is the forward roof at the upper window channel. Like I said I planned on a full resto so the car is completely disassembled, body sitting on metal sawhorses. I am very tidy so all hardware is seperated and bagged/tagged in ziplock bags, from being a maintainer on planes! Anways, I can e-mail or post any pics/part of the car you wish to see, let me know. I would like to see $3500 out of the deal but negotiable due to the fact the car is in pieces and I know it will be work moving it. Feel free to give me your comments and PM me. Thanks a bunch.
