I have been searching and it seems most of the threads are a few years old relating to this, so let me see if anyone can help out with info that is current.

My tray is pretty well rusted and very thin all over. see picture.
Are there any repo trays for other cars or brands that will bolt in correctly? I'm just wanting to have something solid and don't care if it is for an oldsmobile or not.

If there still isn't anything to purchase, what would be the best way to fix this? Por15 putty to make it sold again and then paint it?

Welding anything onto this looks like it would be a real hard task.

    Fiberglass it?

    Anything?

For my GS I just used a black plastic replacement one from Autozone or Advanced. Drilled holes in it for the bolts where the old one attached, and had to use a couple 2 x 1 x 1/4 spacers underneath to make it sit level. It works fine though, battery stays put. I have an original tray as well but it is in only slightly better condition than yours in the photo. Eventually would like to try to repair it.
