67 skylark center console lid. Is it flocked inside?

I know the black plastic is flocked inside the console, but a friend says the inside bottom of the chromed lid get's flocked too.
That doesn't ring true to me but I don't know why.

Is it painted black on the inside of the lid? Or just left as chrome?

I had mine re-chromed so what it was originally I just don't remember.

 

Painted black, semi gloss or satin. Myself, I would use trim black on that.
