 Hey there fella's. I am currently a Mustang owner(hold your boos).Found a solid 67' Skylark through a superior officer(USAF active duty) and fell in love. It is solid inside and out, no rust, 340 4bbl bored .030 over, 2-speed Super Turbine 300 tranny. It has a black vinyl top, red paint(don't think it's original color), and black vinyl interior with bucket seats(not sure about hose also).Anways, having trouble finding parts, not as common as many resources as Mustangs have. Tranny needs a new front pump and shaft. Minor cosmetics needed inside and out. Also looking for a good specifications of that year resource to match numbers, find out what it came with and such. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I love this car and looking to dive into it.Thanks.

Hey! You're just like me! I have a '65 Mustang and I bought a nice '65 Skylark hardtop recently. For parts, get a catalog from Year One, rockauto.com sells some parts, there's some good stuff on the internet, and of course on this website...I've had some luck searching junkyards in rural Michigan! It's not easy though...you can build a Mustang from a catalog! Good luck!

:Do No: Thanks guys. I appreciate the warm welcome and the links. But I am still not finding what I am lloking for. I need another super turbine 300 tranny or a pump and shaft for it. If anyone could please please please help let me know. I need to get my baby out on the street to show her off!

    Hey Aaron,
Where are you in Michigan and where have you found mid sixties Buick stuff in junkyards. I'm about 2 hours from Saginaw up near Alpena.

I'm from Bay City but the junkyards I found were near Gladwin and Harrison. The one in Gladwin only had one picked over '67 Special, but it had what I needed, there were quite a few Buicks at Fox Auto in Harrison. Only a few mid sixties, but a good number of early 70s Skylarks. There might have been others, but I was searching for something specific that day. There's a real good junkyard in Winn, SW of Mt. Pleasant, but the owner is about 80 and you can't take tools back and you need his permission to search around, but he has about 100 acres of mainly pre 1970 iron...be prepared to pay for parts though...

The '67 is a very pretty Skylark. I would like one, but until I get more money....

Also try good old Hemmings Motor News. Available at better bookstores, or try online at www.hemmingsmotornews.com

Year One is also a good place to look for parts, they have a fair amount of stuff for '67s in their Skylark catalog. Also try Original Parts Group, Inc (OPGI). they are known more for Chevelles and such, but they have a good Skylark catalog now.

For mechanicals like engine parts, I think that you'll find the source you need is hands down, TA performance, just follow the link on the main page!
