I have a used set of 14" rally wheels for my '67 Skylark, but I installed a Wilwood front wheel disc brake conversion kit, and now the wheels don't fit over the disc brake calipers. I would like to install 17X8 rally wheels, but I have fender skirts and I'm wondering what offset I need to use, front and back? Buick Wilwood 2.jpg

On a 8" wide wheel. you'll need a minimum of 5 1/2" BACK SPACING. That would be positive 1" OFFSET.

Thanks Larry. What about the front wheels?

7" wide wheels need 4 1/2" back spacing. I do not know for sure whether the wheels will fit over the brakes you have, but if they are 17", they should.

I think so too. Now to find a 17" set of Pontiac rallys with the correct offset for the rear.

Is it stock rotors and just Wilwood calipers? If so, there are 14" Buick chrome rally wheels that will fit over them. I put stock disc brakes on my 71 and the stock 14" wheels fit fine.

The Skylark had 4 wheel drum brakes. Front disc brake conversion is Wilwood rotor, caliper, and dual master cylinder.
