67 special hood springs and radiator support extension

    I need a set of hood springs for a 67 special. measuring my hinges they appear to be 7½"-7¾" from inside hook to inside hook. Anyone have a good used set or know where to buy new? The shortest ones I have found are 8.5" long and wont raise the hood completely.

    Also looking for the extension piece on the upper core support. see circled part in pic.

    Only big block cars had that extension and some bb had a shroud.
    Small block cars had a full shroud in 67.
    Which engine do u have in your car?

    That might explain why its so hard to find. Originally it was a 300 v8. Now an LS swap. I have an electric fan, but id like to have the extension for cosmetics. sorry not the best pic, but its all i had on hand. IMG_20200301_183857285.jpg
