    My 68 Lark conv

    This car is on its way to Sweden, should be in a ship now somewhere on the Atlantic ocean :TU:
    Bought it from New Jersey and changed the top to a black one before shipping.
    ..a good driver.....dont you think :rolleyes:

    Wow I have not seen that car in years , does Chris still own the GS Cal .
    The Riv looks familiar is it drak green or blue. I remember a green one that had Holley pro jection on it.

    That purple look great on your car, it suits it . :cool:

    Back on the road after 24 years

    I bought this car in Flint in 1982, blew it up in 83.
    It sat ever since, until I saw a raccoon crawling out of the conv top about 5 years ago.
    It has been a slow ,little at a time job, but it is getting there.
    I took it out on the road last month and knocked off a cam lobe, :Dou: but the new one is going back in. :TU:
    Still have a ways to go, but getting there....

    Yes Chris still has his car and the riv is dark green it's steve's with the holly projection unit on it the same as mine! How do you know Chris?

    I was in the Buick GS club of Ontario in the mid 80's but at the time I was into Corvairs as well. I wanted to get a GS but that idea fell by the way side. I am still have the Corvairs :Dou:

    I have run into Chris and Sam at a couple of car shows in the past and stopped to say high. Great people they are.
    I still have my photo album of past club events , show and track days. also all my club newsslatters.

    Chris....man, I was drooling all over that car when it was on ebay a short time ago. I thought that it was a very period looking GS with the red stripe and all. Sharp car!

    Waiting for it to get here is hard, Hopefully it will be here before the Car Craft Summer Nat's in St. Paul. At least I get to look at pictures till it's home.
