Fastest, please don't tell me that white skylark is the result of a hardtop you bought from ky a few years back? I am hoping you just used parts from it lol...that was my dads parts car and in bad shape...if you made it look like this well done. But my money is you used parts for this one?
Congrats on a job well done...glad it was saved. You will have to post some more pics...i always had dreams of making it into a drag car...this is much better. Cheers.
To tell the truth I have learned to like the 68-69 A body Buicks. I am thinking a 69 Stage 1 lying on the ground pro-touring style. Tim
my man. thats my car. 69 stage one conv. engine rebuilted 2010 pumped to over 400hp. fun car and good looker
Awesome car! What all did you have to do to the inner wheel well area to stuff that tire in there? Or is the sheet metal stock and the 9" swap gave you the clearance to do it? Thanks Ryan.
SWEEEEEET !!!! I've never seen the spoiler painted that way ... then again, I've only seen a few 69 Sporty's with two tone paint :TU: ... If you're interested in the chrome gas door guard let me know
Thanks Alan . It's the original two tone paint: Twilight Blue and Polar White. On the other hand i don't think the deflector be original.
My '69 Skylark Custom. 350 4bbl, PS, TH 350, PDB, AC (not working) AM/FM radio (ditto). Got her registered only yesterday after doing the brakes, ball joints, bushes, carby o'haul, etc. All the usual stuff one does to older cars. Future plans are to fix the AC, repair/replace the radio. Current plans are to enjoy the car over our summer. Will show it off to my parents & inlaws on xmas day. My first Buick. Did own a '63 Belair and a '67 Impala in a previous life. The cat: Smokey or Mr S. Been with me for 15 years now.
