Cory- the gasket you are looking for will be an 'ARH'. I don't remember the part number off the top of my head.. But, it is clearly cast 'ARH' Yes, Mike, that is correct. An NOS mirror should come with 5-6 gaskets to fit each model.. Each has a separate part number AND casting letters- ARH, BRH, ERH to cover the models for that year. The same applies to the left hand mirrors.
George Thanks very much for the info. Appreciated. At this point I would take any 69-69 RH gasket and try to tweak it to fit.
Korrie i compared it with my left gaskets and the angle is close to the same, so then i put it on my right side 69 door with a mirror and it looks ok but i dont think its correct. im guessing its off a big car.
Gary Can you send me the gasket you have, would like to try to tweak and see if I can make it work. Thanks

Korrie--If mt memory is correct, the part number is on these gaskets. If you will post it, someone may be able to ID it among the many they have.
ARH may get you to the church but not the correct seat. I looked it up for you. #1384442 is I believe what you need. They are called pads in the parts books are are under the mirror group number 10.185.
Double check this Korrie. It appears that prior to 68 Buick called these gaskets. For some reason starting in 68 the nomenclature was changed to "pad". The metal mounts were deemed "brackets". It also looks to me that the same pad was used for the 68 and 69 model years.
In the south we call 'em "chicken lips". Alan--if Larry is still going to be making guest appearances on the Lick Lick Towing show help him get the southern speak down will ya.
