Just noticed the other day that a new music video featured a Riv GS!

It's the song "Vato" by "Snoop Dogg ft. B-Real"..

It looks a bit "pimped" - never saw a sunroof back there before

    Attached some screenshots :)

I have seen GS badges incorrectly placed on a 1968 but it's the first time I see them above the RIVIERA letters!

And what a strange sunroof! It's the first time I see something like that too!

I was channel surfing a couple of weeks ago and saw a country music video with a black 65 Riv GS. Can't remember the name of the song or artist, but almost the entire video is this guy and his Riviera.

i always thought rivieras were ugly :Brow:

but, i went to a car show a few weeks ago and saw the cleanest black and grey riviera, it looked so nice.

i like the back, the only thing i dont like is the front, the turn signals/headlight set up just doesnt look right to me :Do No:

i also like the speedometer in the one i saw, it was a rollback speedo.

I'm glad he saved it. They aren't worth much anyway, and I think low riders and customs are cool too (but I wouldn't do it  ).

The front end is the part that I like the best on the 1966-67! But I don't like how it looks when the headlights are turned on. In my opinion, the 1968-69 headlights look better when they are exposed.

The grille isn't a 69 grille. And yeah, the GS badges are waaaaaay off.

I didn't even notice that the car was a '69 but you are right, I'm wondering if the '68 grille was installed for the "custom" look or because the car was already like that before!

I'm surprised to see that he's also got a canadian '66 Pontiac Parisienne. Usually, people up north go south to find their cars, not the opposite!

Hey hello, Im Jose, I saw you posting the other day on the v8tv Rivi project, you seem to know tons on these cars.
I have a question, I have the original 68 Buick service manual and I had noticed a piture of a 68 rivi online with a "photo amplifier" on the hood, I checked my service manual and it shows up there, It just doesnt explain what it does. Do you know what its for?

    Thanks
