Not mine, but I'm near by if anyone wants me to check it out for them. http://chicago.craigslist.org/wcl/pts/2808293358.html
Ive heard this term used incorrectly so many times I dont even bother anymore. I guess its a common mistake for those who are "Buick challenged".o No:
yea, I know it's not a power glide. But not being the Buick guru I wasn't sure what they'd have behind a I-6 in 68.
I had a '69 Chevy truck with a 292 6-cyl w/ Powerglide. So, I wasn't sure. But I didn't think powerglides found their way into Buicks. There were some Cadillacs with Dynaflows due to a fire in the Hydramatic plant.
Like Doug said. It couldn't have been behind an in-line 6, because that would have the Chevy bolt pattern...which that pic ain't. It is feasible to have a Powerglide in a Buick, if it came with the inline 6 (Chevy). They are out there, I worked at a GM plant in 1970, and all kinds of stuff went by on the assembly line.
Right, but thats a ST300 ... I do believe that the PG was used behind the I6. I had one years ago and remember it was a PG
