Checking interest in my original rusty core support. Would be a good candidate for a repair patch as it has the same battery damage as most. Driver's side is good for the most part. Never been bent.

40 some odd years ago, I acquired a "good" core support and I recently decided I am not keeping my original one. Since my inner fender is also trashed due to battery acid, I would like to trade both the rusty core support and passenger inner fender for a good inner fender. Or if I can get my inner fender patched in exchange for the rusty core support that would work for me too.

Since I haven't seen a NOS core support for sale since the one I bought (even a rusty one), I thought this could work out for a confident welder. That's not me otherwise I'd patch the inner fender myself.

However, since everyone with a 68 or 69 has the same issue on the passenger side, my original core support is probably pretty common. I am not planning to sell this so please, someone, let me know if this is wishful thinking or would this swap be feasible. Also, please let me know if you all want to see pics because it could be yours for the cost of shipping.

The silence speaks.... funky old core support bound for the scrap yard.

Max Damage I'm working on it!

Don't be so quick to trash it?

Where are you (and the core support) located? Also, a photo of the rusted area and the whole unit, might make some (like me) realize that yours is a lot better than mine.
