68 electra parts

I may know of a rusty 430 powered electra that runs. Anyone need anything from it that would make it worth the time to buy?

 

It isn\t much that I need from that car: complete ignition lock.

 

I would be interested in the valve covers if they are in good shape and the fan shroud. I might need the radio if its an AM/FM stero. Maybe a rear bumper if in good shape.

 

I brought the car home. I do have another local guy that has expressed interest in several parts. (steering wheel and bumpers for sure) I will have to run all requests by him to see if he needs it for his car. He is in halves with me

 

Also interested in armrests w/ pads

 

Maybe check for four note horn, specifically, the C note trumpet shape horn and the D note snail shell horn. Does this Deuce have six way power seats as well?

 

Will most likely sell the door panels together with armrests too

It still runs and drives at this time. As soon as I sell the engine I will sell the ignition.

I would like the valve covers because they are in perfect shape. I know you want to sell the engine complete and will send newly painted covers with new stickers. I painted these but now want the engine to look untouched since it only has 45k on the car and the bright new valve covers take away from that.

Mike, how are the long topside rear quarter moldings and trunk lid solid underneath ?

 

Here are a couple shots the rust seems to be surface. I could not push thru or make it crunch by hand. The molding looked good with only a couple small pits of rust and needs painted again

 

I'm missing 1 piece of chrome, and it looks like you have just the part. Located accross the back just above the rear bumper. Sort of runs from fin to fin. Need the connectors with it.

Both right and left font running lights just behind the front bumber if in real good condition, They may be the complete assemby with chrome, actually thats how I would like to buy, yours a just a bit different.

the center trunk trim is bent one of the ends is sold and the right hand one is in decent shape. Here is the front fenders too
