68 GS grille

    Thought I would post a picture of a 68 GS grille i just completed.

    Now I need a 68 grille for parts with a good center section where the fins come to a point. I need this part to help a board member with his project.

    Very nice work, Dave! So, how are you at taking out the "bow" in the top of these 68 grilles?

    David,
    I had two aluminum plates made to fit. I then heat the plastic until it begins to soften, then I clamp the aluminum plates over it. Sometimes I have to tweak a few areas by hand.

    That sounds like a great solution to the problem. One of these days (years?) I'll get around to addressing my front bumper and grille issues, and straightening that piece will be one of my problems.
