My deep pockets ended when I got married again.ou: Did you get anything done on your 64 this weekend? or did you spend too much time installing a microwave? just make her use the freakin stove:bla:
Well I did manage to get all my WOM stainless dug out and started cleaning that up. I also got my roof rail weatherstrip mouldings put in. Dug out my rear interior panels and polished up my door handles. I need to find a set of speakers for my rear shelf and get those in. I have lots of underhood detailing to do. Pull out the old carpet and get my stock shifter put back in and the new carpet. Install the weatherstripping and put my vent windows back in. I need a couple pieces of stainless trim yet. I discovered that my driver's side mirror did not make it back with the car. I need contact the body shop and pray they have it out there along with the gasket. I need to vacuum out the trunk and sell the seats that are in it now along with the B&M shifter. Oh and get my tires mounted on the rims and paint the underside of the wheel wells. List keeps getting longer. ou:
cant wait to see what it looks like with those wheels on it where did you get the rim and tire package at?
The rims I found thru a recomendation from a board member and the Tires I got at tires.com The guy that sell the rims has them on ebay all the time with free shipping.
Need to lower the car alotou: Well here goes more work to do. Glass is in and rims and tires on today
Dude sell those rims to me cheap and get some DUBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:TU: Then cruise Lake street!
Well today I got the driver's mirror in, door locks, rear interior panels, door panels and wheel opening mouldings. I bolted in the driver's seat and drove around for about a half hour. :3gears: Feels good to have a car to drive again. Seat belts and new carpet later this week and I still have to get my trunk open as I can't get the lock to turn after putting the gasket in the trunk lock. Seems like common problem the last couple months.ou: Maybe tomorrow night I'll get the grill painted and put that in this week too. I'll try to take some more pics this week between the rain. :beer
Well it's about as done as it's going to get this summer. Still need a trim piece for the passenger fender. This fall I'm going to lower the car a couple inches in front. I did leave a couple of black streaks out on the county road for about a 150 feet. Those Nitto's are sticky tires:3gears:
Hey, I love the progress, car looks tuff in a good way... I edited you a photo of it.. A little more detail than the original.. Thought it'd make a nice picture.. Hope to see many more .. Dave
