Just wanted to resurrect an older parts wanted...right now, looks like I need a pair of bucket seats in restorable condition for a 68 Riv (I think 69 would be the same, but not sure, maybe the 69s have the seat back release on the rear instead of the side). I understand the 67s are metal sides and rear, whereas the 68s are plastic. I also need a console shifter, complete from the handle to the transmission, to include the lever that attaches to the tranny. Alternatively, I could use just the shift linkage that runs from the shifter to the trans. I bought a console complete with shifter off of eBay, but the scumbags failed to ship the linkage. They admitted they failed to ship the linkage, but are jacking me around saying they have now shipped the stuff, but oh, damn, computer is down, can't give you the tracking number. Right. But I'm not into the eBay swap negative feedback thing, so I guess I just have to suck it up. Anyway, I'd appreciate any help in locating the bucket seats/shifter/linkage. Thanks!
Well, much as I hate to admit it, I was wrong about the outfit I called scumbags in the post above...I got the shifter linkage via UPS today. Now I have to call and apologize to their eBay guy for being somewhat less than pleasant to him yesterday. Time to get out the kneepads and lifesavers I guess. Anyway, point is that I still need a pair of bucket seats for a 68 Riv. They don't have to be mint by any means, because I'd plan on getting them recovered and padded. Thanks!
