I'm looking for a power antenna unit for a 68 Riviera. The motor on mine is shot, so at the very least I would need a WORKING motor unit. I believe that any BIG car unit will work for my app. PM me what you have and the price + shipping.
The Riviera power antenna assembly is Riviera specific Matt, but you are correct in that, the electric motor portion of the power antenna is exactly the same for all models ! Give it a GOOD cleaning while you have it apart, as a lot of crud and corrosion over the years can cause the nylon cable to stick or bind, which in turn will damage the electric motor. Make sure the drain hole in the bottom of the cable housing is open, the rubber seal on the nylon cable is intact, the clutch is adjusted properly, and the unit has a good ground !
