    68riviera430 BRRRRAAAAP!

I have a 68 rivi that i am getting ready to paint black...
should i paint the front and rear bumper all black to make it look sleek too? (If i did i would probably remove a lot of the chrome trimming around the car)

Has anyone ever seen one like this? have any pictures of one?

No I would not paint the bumpers. It will make it difficult to sell. All cars are sold sooner or later.

I would be careful about black on the body panels too. This color will show any imperfection so the prep will also need to be perfect. It will take much more time to preapre the body for paint realtive to other colors and it will show dirt much easier once finished.

    I wouldn't.
That monochrome look went out with the 80's.

Chrome, it's a good thing! :bglasses:

    there's a wicked blacked-out '67 on page 3 of THIS THREAD.
personally, i like the 80s monochrome look (but i also like duran duran). :Do No:
it WILL cut $1000 off the resale value.
i say do it, which may be a good reason not to.

thats probably the coolest car ive ever seen! haha
Question though...once i paint the bumpers...there's no going back huh? you can't just strip it back down to chrome...oh and can you just paint straight on them or what?
