If anyone has parts needs for a 68 Skylark convertible, send your wish list my way, I'll send pics, and we can negotiate on price. I lost the battle to have my brother restore her like he promised years ago, when I sold it to him for $1,000--fkr, fkr, fkr!

Body's shot (but interior floor is really good), frame is fine, have replacement quarter skins (for '69 from Year One-buggers!), mint am/fm with plate, dash for ac, restored instrument bezel, hood, trunk, doors, trim, both side rear mirrors, 455 Olds, T350, radiator support, headlight bezels, GS? rims. Eric (ewojcieszak@yahoo.com).

All, put your wish lists together, and I'll be sure to send pics this weekend, along with prices. The car is in northwest Indiana (46350). The steering wheel is for a 69, the grille is from a 68 Special, but the chrome surround is excellent, and the tri-shield is the best I've seen. I painted the plastic satin (?) black.

Both side mirrors are excellent, trim is very good, rear well covers are very good as well. One of the two hydraulic cylinders leaks. Have the pump, but my f'd up brother cut one of the hoses to do some dumbass work unrelated to the car.

I had my brother buy the am/fm for $300 on eBay. Anyone interested? It's a beauty! Same for the radio bezel.

    Eric (ewojcieszak@yahoo.com).

    am/fm is for a '69

Forgot to mention... the am/fm is a 69, as is the steering wheel. I also have a very nice 69 instrument bezel. The 68 was re-chromed and painted, not to my satisfaction, but will include pics this weekend. Am taking a picture of th one part I do have here at my house - the grille/surround chrome/tri-shield from a 68 Buick Special.

68 front and rear bumpers and 69 quarter skins

The front is better than the rear. The rear has spots of surface rust, but hope to have pics this weekend to confirm its quality.

I also have 69 quarter skins from Year One. Anyone interested?

I'll be uploading some pics of the grille/surround, the 69 am/fm I picked up recently, top cylinders, scuff plates, and maybe some others I didn't know I had at my house. Eric.

pics of the 68 Buick Special (?) grille/surround

pics of the grille/surround... The chrome is far better than the crappy results in the pics. Will try to take some without the flasher tomorrow during the daylight.

69 Skylark am/fm radio, 68 Skylark scuff plates

69 Skylark am/fm radio, 68 Skylark scuff plates, chrome around the convertible top backside, plus top cylinders. I wasted so much f'ing time polishing the chrome trim with the harbor freight buffer. Of all my restoration efforts with this '68 Skylark convertible and my '67 Cougar standard, polishing the chrome trim has to be the freaking worst part.

The radio buttons work fine, but don't know if she works. No reason to think she doesn't. Anyone able to guide me on how to test her out? I have an antenna, battery, and speakers. Just need to know the wire setups.
