What is the best way to repair the nuts that are welded(?) on that hold the fender in the lower dogleg area? Mine are busted off and the fenders tend to flap without them. Does someone sell repair kits for these? Thanks.

70-72 used the type of nuts with the slot that you slide on the pinch weld. Not sure how 68 did it but would these work?

I don't think that it is made to accept that style of nut-clip. I will see what it looks like when I take it back apart. Maybe those could work. Any source for those? Thanks.

I just had to grind those two bolt heads off as well. I am looking for the same replacements. Any luck?? I was going to try and weld a nut back onto the clip and use a matching stainless bolt. I tried looking at year one and opgi but found nothing.

Anybody know where to get these bolts and anchor nuts??

    I'm guessing they are the same 68 - 72 ?
