Can anyone tell me how m any mounting studs were molded in a 69-72 442 rear spoiler? I was initially told 3 and now i am being told 2. Where is the best place to buy repro spoilers?

Any advice on 69 Hurst Olds Repro hood scoops?

    Thanks
    Bob

First, I'm not sure the '69 wing (Hurst/Olds only) was identical to the production '70-72 wing. So you may need a Hurst expert. Oh, Rustyyyyy ......

The '70 wing had three fasteners on each end. I don't have the assembly manual in front of me, but off the top of my head there was one stud in the center of each end, making it easy for them to locate and install it on the deck lid. Then, from underneath, they put a nut on that stud and installed two more bolts on each end. (Maybe I've got the studs and bolts backwards -- two studs and one bolt on each end?)

The reproduction wings have only two fasteners on each end. I don't know if the hole locations are identical to factory original.

I have some photos taken from my '72 assembly manual if you are still interested. Being a newb, I cannot post links. Let me know and I will email them to you.
