Just in case you weren't aware, you would also need a 68 grille to use with a 68 surround. 68/69 grilles and surrounds do not mix-n-match.
oh really? i thought they did. cause my gs has a 68 surround (missing the center bar) but my grill has a spot where the center bar should be... is that the only issue or do they not mount up at all?
69 grille surround Hey Chromag. . .I have a 69 grille surround. Its nice, no real bad pitting, no cracks, no digs, and I "believe" all the mounting studs are intact. Maybe they will physically go together, but it wouldn't look so great without the middle horizontal bar to go across the front of that mounting area on the 69 grille. I've never tried to mount 68 surround/69 grille, but I've only seen comments here that you can't combine different years with 68/69. I just don't think it would look very good.

SO, uh Paul!? Hey Paul. My wife made me sleep on the couch last night. . I set your 69 grille surround on HER side of the bed yesterday when you said you had to "THINK ABOUT IT". well, she carefully moved it to MY side, and since I didn;t want to damage the thing, I left it there all night. Imagine this. .two grils in one mans bed and HE sleeps on the couch. .! ou: :laugh: So, DO YOU WANT it er not?? I'll tuck it away back in my STUFFS area if you don't.
