Anyone have one available in the New England area? For a 69 Skylark Conv. could get away with a 68 frame as well. THANKS John
I have heard that you can take the braces from the convert frame and weld them on the hardtop frame and it works.
You can always box in a coupe frame to make it work. Contact Ryans-GSX here, he has 2 or 3 parts cars with clean frames. You can get all of them and sell the ones you don't need to other rusty car owners and probably break even or make a few $$$$
At the warehouse, I have boxed frame rails for '68-72 A-body converts. Also BOP A-body convert trans crossmembers, 4 spd (F41) braces, upper & lower control arms, etc. No '64, 65, 66, or 67 convert frames or inserts! :3gears: Roger
Thanks for the help guys. But when i say this frame is junk i mean JUNK!!. On the pass. side the front and rear boxed sections are gone. On the driver side the rear portion that starts in front of the rear wheel and goes up over the axel is gone. This thing is just bad enough to make a whole frame swap the best way to go. Still looking THANKS John
You may be looking for a long time. Make sure you check other A-body sites such as www.classicalpontiac.com www.442.com www.realoldspower.com www.chevelle.com
John, Happen to know where there is four (4) A body convertible frames right next door in RI. Also know of a guy who has a bunch of parts for 69 Buicks :Brow: I have to make a trip down to my 'hidden stash' in the near future. I will let you know what I find/ condition of the frames. Only thing I ask is to be patient :beer
