Thought I would post a couple pictures of my friend Nick's El Camino SS 396. Its an original Daytona yellow, code 76 car. It currently has a 70 454 in it with a T-400 and a Currie 9". From what I understand, they didnt paint too many of these in this color. A previous owner painted the car blue and took off the black vinyl top. The car came from California originally and was made in the Freemont plant. Neat car even if it says SS on it p He's still on the fence about painting it back to yellow. Anyone have any pictures of Daytona yellow they could post?

unless he wants a numbers matching orig special, hell no. keep that color. unless he likes yellow. jim
