69 GS quarter emblem placement

Does anyone have dimensions on the exact placement of the "GS" emblem on the 69 quarter, right above the marker lamp? I want the body guy to get this right the first time. I want it perfect. He bondo'd over the original holes and without me personally being there I can't trust that he will find the original holes again correctly, so I wondered if anyone had exact dimensions, even a high quality close up picture would be good for starters. But dimensions would be better.

C'mon guys, help me out.

 

I checked my repro copy of the assembly manual and came up empty. It has the measurement for the hood emblems, but nothing for the rear quarters. Sorry.

 

Ken, check with Alan W (69GS400s). He may have the info you need.

I do remember however, I thought Alan said he was going on vacation or something??

 

And I am of no help either Ken, as my car is in storage for the winter and the owner of the facility is in Arizona until March, so I can't even go and look at it for you!

It took me a while to locate my 69 marker light box in the garage. I have been doing some major house cleaning in the garage and forgot where I put everything. I will try to explain the measurements for the emblem placement.
1. The holes are located 1" above the cut out for the marker light, center of the hole.
2. They have 1 5/8 " spacing center of the holes.
3. The forward hole is in line with the forward edge of the marker light cut out
4. The hole size is 1/4" drill the hole with a unibit to insure a round hole.
