"Purchased original hood and replica grill (uninstalled)" - would be worth almost $1000.00. Really nice parts car for me - Wish it was in PA. Terry
I would want to check the VIN and rivets real close, looks more like a Skylark than a GS. Can't quite see the quarter marker lights though.
JUST LEARNED...this is one of my Clubmembers cars. Husband/Wife team intended to restore it years back. Ya'll know the story. . .No more time. No more money. No more interest. 30 minutes form me...so I will offer to go take fotos and details for anyone interested?!? Wheelz, Tampa Bay
Guys...heres the scoop on this car: There is NOTHING that points to it being a GS, my initial review, it appears to be a 69 Skylark. ALTHO the vin tag shows 44667 it also shows where someone hacked up the vin dash area and the vin TAG pop rivets sure look like standard pop rivets. MAY've been swapped..? .? Initial glance looks like a 70 350-2 motor. Trunk trim is Skylark. Rusty trunk lid. Rear bumper has rust and is about to fall to the dirt from the rusty frame. Holes in trunk floor & passenger floors. Windshield header and vert top bows have rust. GOBS of blistering rust under the craftsman home sprayer applied thick blue paint, on every panel. Sellers have a 69 GS hood, but it has rust pinholes across the front lip and major surface rust all over... appears to have once been sandblasted to RAW METAL...but never primered or sealed. ugh. No grilles or foam pads. Interior isnt. . .it needs everything. Car is maybe good for parts. Altho not many good usable parts other than decent pinchweld trim and 3 wheelwell trims. and a knob for the vert top. .and radiator 'X' braces. Maybe the power seat motor works. not. I didnt really want to be a heartbreaker and give the seller my total opinion but I did tell them if soneone comes along and offers ANY MONEY for the car... they should take it. Sorry. Thats all I've got to say. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
