I am sure it is a nice car, but no pictures and $24,750? The seller is a few years behind the market on his pricing, this ain't 2006/07 anymore! Best of luck selling this car for that kind of money. I am sure we will see the price get dropped on this one if he actually wants to sell it............

For Sale: 1969 Buick GS400 - $24,750 or best offer
Numbers Matching Engine/Transmission, Frame on Restored to Show Condition...Signal Red with Black interior and Black Vinyl Top

Every aspect of the car has been gone through and rebuilt or replaced with new with meticulous care to detail. This original GS400 car started out as a completely rust-free, western (high and dry) Montana car. With minor imperfections on the rear quarters the previous owner (who restored the car) decided to replace them rather than try to straighten, so new quarters were installed. This is one of the straightest cars I have seenmuch attention to detail was taken to make everything as perfect as possible. Previous owner specialized in restoring Buick GSs to very high standards. Car was repainted approximately 1 year ago with Buick Signal Red high quality Deltron paint. Paint job is extremely nice and as said before this car is laser straight. One of the nicest factory Buick GSs I have ever seen.

The car has a new windshield with the rest of the glass original, new Legendary black interior from the headliner to the carpet as well as most other components inside are new or refurbished to new condition. Dash is original and in exceptional condition. The numbers matching 400 motor was rebuilt to better than stage 1 spec for 1969, and has few miles on it; the matching number turbo 400 transmission has been fully rebuilt. Underneath is the original 8.2 rear that has 3.42 gears with a brand new Auburn posi-traction unit .The driveshaft has new front and rear u-joints installed. Car has a new master cylinder, new Delco vacuum booster and date coded Packard ignition wires. The ignition system has been upgraded to electronic ignition that resides inside the distributor cap. The carb and distributor, which are original to the car were professionally rebuilt by well known Buick experts. The new heater hoses are the correct ribbed design with all proper clamps affixed per the factory assembly manual. This includes corbin clamps on the heater and bypass hoses and tower clamps on the upper/lower radiator hoses.

Suspension has new front and rear coil springs, lower ball joints, shocks and bushings and front and rear drum brakes with new wheel bearings and wheel cylinders.Correct 14 inch Buick Rally wheels have been restored with new BFGoodrich white letter tires mounted along with a new spare. A new black vinyl top was installed and all the stainless has been polished to a show quality shine. New front and rear bumpers and a new rear light harness. The car also enjoys new engine and front light wire harnesses. Car tracks very straight down the road, is very smooth/steady and has had a recent wheel alignment.

The exhaust is a new Torque Tech 2.5 inch mandrel bent system with Magna Flow oval case mufflers; a new radiator has been installed along with a new gas tank with sending unit and a new heater core. Has a new reproduction grill along with new GS emblem for a perfect look, the headlight bezels are mint and so are the hood grills. Under the hood are new, correct yellow GS only pads. Also, has new trunk "GS" emblem, new windshield washer tank, new windshield washer motor and pump.
    Options include:
    Bench seat, Auto column shift
    Auto Transmission
    Rallye Wheels
    Sport Steering Wheel
    Light package including trunk light
    AM Radio
    Power Steering, Power Drum Brakes
Positration rear with heavy duty F41 suspension

I had no intention of ever selling this car as it is amazing all around, but things have recently changed in my personal life. The great thing about this car it is ready for someone to enjoy right away and is a complete turn-key show car. Asking $24,750 or best reasonable offer.

I will be at the Chatterbox Restaurant Cruise in on Saturday September 5, 2009 showing the car, arriving at approximately 4:30pm and staying until 7pm. The Chatterbox is located on Route 15 in Augusta, NJ. Car needs to be seen to be appreciated how nice it is.
