    1) Where do I get the inner fender flaps or whatever you call them, or even the correct material to cut them? Mine are torn / shot.

    2) what is the correct method of attachment?

    3) What color / finish goes on the inner fenders, firewall, etc.?

    Steve

Among others YO sells the splash shields and the staple kit to install them.

    www.opgi.com may be cheaper.

So are the splash shields identical for Rivs and Skylarks / GS's?

Year One doesn't sell em for skylarks, let alone Rivs, but doies make them for some other models. Don't sell the material or the kits. Any other leads?

    Sorry Steve

I have bought them at YO in the past but not recently. I would add Postons to the list. I may have bought them there in the past but am unsure.

I believe CARS INC. carries them Steve, and Classic Buick too. They are Riviera specific - use your old ones for a pattern. :TU:

    Riv splash guards

I have a 67 Riv. When I researched the splash guards- No one makes Riv splash guards. I bought a roll of the rubber from Cars, Inc. Used my old ones as patterns- the right and left are mirror images. Traced them onto flexible posterboard. Made sure they fit, may need to trim the cardboard a bit. Then cut the rubber with scissors using the cardboard as a pattern.
There are several methods of attachment. I subscribe to the KISS method. Using the correct staples looked difficult. I used black trim screws #8-18 x 5/8". 8 screws per splash guard about 2" apart. Just hold the guard in place, start at one end and drill a smaller dia. hole in the wheelwell lip for each screw as you go.If you need to remove the splash guard later- screws are a lot easier than staples.
